Animal Welfare & Education
Best friends animal society is guided by a simple philosophy: kindness to animals builds a better society for all of us…
Oscar’s law is a very simple campaign: it enables everyone to make a stand and tell the Government that “We do not want companion animals factory farmed anymore” and “We no longer want the pet industry to mislead us about what is acceptable for our animals”.
“I believe that every dog should have the opportunity to be trained using humane, respectful methods that will help it live successfully within the household and general community. At Point Cook Dog Training, you will learn how to do just that and will be shown how to train your dog using the current best practice method, which is Positive Reinforcement. Point Cook Dog Training is located in Victoria.”
For almost 20 years Debra Tranter has worked tirelessly to abolish the cruel practice of factory farming dogs for profit. She founded the campaign to abolish puppy farming in 1993 and has successfully shut down 2 puppy farms in Victoria, Australia. This is her journal.
